"Waiting"

In May I had the privilege of photographing a firefighter training in Chester, VA. During training, the firefighters enter a "burn building." A burn building is a specially designed structure that allows instructors to control fires and expose trainees to environments and tactics they may experience in the field. The photo above, "Waiting," was shot as firefighters were preparing to put on their gear at the start of the session. You can view more photos from the training here.
